Beaufort's been here since 1709. It's the third oldest town in the state, and it looks it, in a good way. Front Street still runs along Taylor's Creek the way it has for three centuries, the Old Burying Ground dates back to 1724, and a lot of the homes in the historic district are older than any lawn care company that's ever mowed their yard. That kind of age changes what a property actually needs.

Most companies treat every yard the same: mow it, edge it, move on. That doesn't work on a two hundred year old lot with heritage trees and foundation plantings that went in before anyone alive today was born.
